Mirjana Gurinović , MD PhD Nutrition, Principal Research Fellow became a member of the European Commission (EC) High Level Expert Group (HLEG), whose mandate is to assess the needs, options, impacts and possible approach for an International Platform for Food Systems Science (IPFSS).

The High Level Expert Group will advise the European Commission on the need and possible scope for an International Platform for Food Systems Science (IPFSS), within the context of the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit. More practically, the Expert Group will assess the needs, potential, feasibility, approach and options for the potential establishment of the IPFSS.
